Robert DePalo Jr., JD, CExP, AEP

Robert P. DePalo Jr. is the architect behind The Strategic Business Planner, where he synthesizes advanced corporate engineering, structural optimization, and multi-generational tax arbitrage. Holding both a Juris Doctor (JD) and elite credentials as an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) and Certified Exit Planner (CExP), Robert operates at the intersection of law and finance to insulate and maximize wealth for business owners and high-net-worth families.

His practice is built on a rigorous professional foundation. Robert earned his BBA in Finance from Hofstra University and his JD from Hofstra University Maurice Dean School of Law. Before establishing his current practice, he sharpened his expertise across the institutional ecosystem—beginning within an equities broker-dealer, serving as the Managing Director of a hedge fund, and overseeing a large team within a major mutual insurance firm. Today, he also serves as the Director of Business Planning and Advanced Planning for National Financial Network.

This background allows Robert to engineered specialized frameworks for complex wealth migration and business succession. Rather than viewing corporate and personal wealth as separate entities, he designs integrated strategies that maximize efficiency, unlock structural alpha, and protect multi-generational legacies.

Outside of his professional practice, Robert is an avid collector of horology, a Porsche enthusiast, and a dedicated supporter of New York sports; holding a permanent fixture at MetLife Stadium for every New York Jets home game.
